Testing Microwave Ovens for Leakage and Safety.
We offer a testing service for microwave ovens which includes checking for leakage and safety.
This can be carried out at the same time as your Portable Appliance Testing.
Poor maintenance and poor hygiene can mean that your oven could develop leakage levels over and above the recommended levels.
Testing on your microwave involves measuring the radiation levels around the oven to ensure that the item is in compliance with legal limits and door seals and safety interlock switches are inspected for any damage that may have occurred.
Microwave Ovens are probably one of the most heavily used items in a workplace and do need regular checks to see that they are operating safely.
Microwaves are priced at £4.50 per appliance for leakage tests.
